Duties:
- Helping KS3 and KS4 students understand and finish their classwork.
- Working 1-on-1 with students to help them hit their GCSE goals.
- Leading small groups to make English and Maths easier to understand.
- Helping the teacher keep the classroom calm and well-behaved.
- Making sure all students stay safe and follow school rules.
- Helping KS4 students get organized for their exams and revision.
- Keeping a simple record of how students are doing for the teacher.
Skills & Qualifications:
- A University Degree OR a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly valued.
- A friendly and patient personality so you can support students who find school hard.
- Clear communication skills so you can talk to teenagers and other staff members easily.
- The ability to stay calm and helpful even when the classroom gets busy.
- A real interest in education and helping young people reach their goals.
