We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Formby starting in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children's learning in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons.
Assist pupils on a one-to-one or small group basis to aid their learning.
Help create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
Support the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
Monitor and track pupil progress under the guidance of teaching staff.
Promote positive behaviour and inclusion across the classroom.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Have recent experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
Be caring, patient, and proactive.
Be confident supporting children with a range of needs.
Work well independently and as part of a team.
