Randstad Education is currently recruiting for an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in Brentwood.

Key Responsibilities

• GCSE Focus: Providing specialised support to Year 10 and 11 students as they prepare for their final exams.
• Lead Interventions: Planning and delivering small-group sessions for students who require additional stretching or support in core subjects.
• SEND & Inclusion: Working under the guidance of the SENCO to support students with diverse learning requirements, ensuring an inclusive classroom environment.
• Classroom Management: Assisting the Lead Teacher in maintaining a focused, productive atmosphere and managing classroom transitions.

Requirements

• Certification: Must hold a Level 3 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
• Secondary Experience: Solid experience working within a secondary school setting is essential.
• Professionalism: Excellent communication skills and the ability to build professional relationships quickly.
• Location: Ideally based in or within easy commuting distance of Brentwood (accessible via the Elizabeth Line or M25).
• Vetting: Must hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to undergo a new check.
