The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Line Leader to join a growing, fast-paced business at our site in the Dianthus Business Park. We are a friendly, thriving team looking for a proactive leader who excels in a challenging environment and has a passion for delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
As a Line Leader, you will oversee a production line and lead a dedicated team of approximately 10 Production Operatives. Your duties include:
Team Leadership: Manage day-to-day activities, motivate the team to achieve goals, and delegate tasks effectively.
Operational Excellence: Develop and implement timelines to meet production targets and monitor KPIs.
Quality Control: Ensure all products meet strict customer specifications with a strong eye for detail.
Compliance & Reporting: Complete line check sheets accurately/on time and conduct training to maximise performance.
Culture: Foster a pleasant, supportive, and inspiring working environment for your team.
Requirements & Experience
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
Industry Expertise: Substantial experience working within a horticulture environment.
Warehouse Proficiency: Significant experience in warehouse operations, including a Counterbalance FLT license held for the duration.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to provide clear direction and organize a team effectively.
Technical Skills: Computer literate with excellent communication skills.
Logistics: Must hold a full driving license and be highly reliable.
Safety: A strong awareness of Health & Safety standards.
