Are you an enthusiastic and committed KS1 teacher looking for a rewarding long term opportunity in Crawley?
We are currently seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school from Easter through to the end of the academic year. This is a full time position with full teaching responsibilities.
The Role:
Full time Year 2 class teacher
Full planning, preparation and marking
Attendance at parent's evenings
Full teaching responsibilities including assessment and reporting
Working collaboratively with parallel teachers and SLT
Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys taking full ownership of their class and building strong relationships with pupils and families across the summer term.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within KS1, ideally Year 2
Strong knowledge of phonics and KS1 assessment frameworks
Confidence with full classroom responsibilities
A positive and proactive approach to behaviour management
The right to work in the UK
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
