Location: Bishops Stortford (Onsite)
Shift: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30 (37.5 hours/week)
Pay Rate: £12.95 per hour
Duration: Full-time contract 9 months (potential for extension)
The Role
As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of materials by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will handle everything from initial material pulling and inventory management to final shipment packaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory & Logistics: Picking and packing client orders, pulling materials from internal software, and booking courier transport.
Compliance: Completing Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) paperwork accurately and in real-time.
Material Handling: Receiving biological samples and operating safely with dry ice, Liquid Nitrogen (LN2), and hazardous agents.
Facility Standards: Maintaining a cleanroom environment, adhering to EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) regulations, and following strict gowning protocols.
What We're Looking For
Education: Secondary education, Advanced Certificate, or equivalent experience.
Skills: Basic math, solid verbal/written communication, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with high quality.
Mindset: A collaborative spirit with a focus on Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.
