The Opportunity
- Location: Birmingham
- Pay Rate: £12.65 per hour (Salary equivalent: £26,312).
- Contract: 6 Months (Full-time).
- Shift: 07:00 am - 3:30 pm, 40 hours per week.
- Overtime: Sporadically when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Workload Management: Independently manage your own workload against a published plan and take responsibility for completing work "right first time".
- Inventory Control: Manage inventory to ensure materials are available and accurately transacted to complete assigned work.
- Equipment Maintenance: Own and perform scheduled activities for designated equipment, areas, or functions.
- Process Improvement: Proactively identify and implement improvement initiatives across all aspects of your work.
Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, or lab setting.
- Education: GCSE level or equivalent with 1 year of experience, or a relevant degree.
- Top Skills: * Technical competence with machinery.
- A strong quality and compliance mindset in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Technical Literacy: Proficient in IT, specifically Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to carry out complex instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within a cGMP environment.
Proven background in workload management.
