Manufacturing Technician - Loughborough
Location: Bishop Meadow Road, Loughborough
The Opportunity
Are you detail-oriented with experience in a manufacturing or lab setting? Join our team as a Manufacturing Technician in the Laboratory Products Division, supporting vital research, diagnostic, and clinical environments. This hands-on role involves ensuring the highest quality of our laboratory consumables.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection & Assembly: Inspect, assemble, and package laboratory consumables to defined specifications and quality standards.
- Equipment Operation: Set up and operate packaging and labelling equipment, including printing labels using approved software.
- Documentation: Accurately complete required paperwork (Batch Records, ECNs, etc.) and input downtime data.
- Quality Control: Assist with in-process and finished goods inspections (Quality Control/Peer Review).
- Maintenance: Perform calibration and preventative maintenance on labelling equipment.
- Teamwork: Promote a positive environment and cross-train/assist in other departments as needed.
What We're Looking For
Education High School Diploma, Secondary Education, Advanced Certificate, or equivalent.Experience (Required)Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, or lab setting.Experience (Preferred)Experience in a cGMP environment.SkillsGood verbal/written communication, IT literate (Microsoft Office), ability to follow instructions, multi-task, and prioritise.
