Earn a competitive rate of £12.65 per hour while ensuring the smooth flow of products from receipt to dispatch, focused on our SQD model (Safety, Quality, and Delivery).
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be a key part of our warehouse operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in every task. Your responsibilities include:
- Receiving & Storing: Handling deliveries and returns, checking goods against the ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice) or purchase orders, and accurately booking and locating items in the warehouse management system.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately picking and assembling customer orders using radio data terminals and preparing them for shipment, including proper packaging and labelling for safe transport.
- Shipping & Loading: Sorting customer orders for outbound routes, and safely loading vehicles (third-party carriers and own fleet) according to the manifest loading sequence.
- Safety & Quality: Operating and maintaining warehouse equipment safely, adhering to all health and safety guidelines, and actively supporting a high standard of quality and performance against KPIs.
Minimum Requirements
We're looking for someone who is a flexible, self-motivated, and team-oriented individual.
- Ability to understand written and verbal procedures and instructions in English.
- Experience in warehouse operations such as forklift driving, picking, packing goods, or dispatch is highly desirable.
- A co-operative and positive approach, with a willingness to share ideas, seek support, and recognise the contribution of others.
- Commitment to meeting productivity, quality, and safety standards, and a receptiveness to change and continuous development.
- A professional approach is required, with provided work-wear to be maintained to a good standard.
- Flexibility to work various shift patterns and support additional hours when needed.
