We are partnered with a welcoming and inclusive SEN school based in Cambridge, supporting pupils aged 5-19 with a variety of special educational needs, including autism, moderate to severe learning difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs. This school is dedicated to providing personalised learning in a supportive environment where every student is encouraged to achieve their full potential.
The Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a wonderful team and deliver high-quality, differentiated Maths lessons across Key Stages. You will play a key role in helping students develop their confidence and functional numeracy skills, while fostering a love of learning. This is a part-time role - ideally 5 mornings but this can be negotiated.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons tailored to pupils' individual needs and EHCP targets
- Differentiate learning to ensure accessibility for students with a wide range of abilities
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff to create a positive learning environment
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary
- Contribute to whole-school curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
- Build positive relationships with students, families, and multi-agency professionals
- Promote pupils' personal and social development alongside academic achievement
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Has experience teaching Maths (experience in an SEN setting is desirable but not essential)
- Is patient, creative, and adaptable, with strong behaviour management skills
- Has a commitment to inclusive education and personalised learning
- Is able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrates empathy, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
