We are recruiting talented and dedicated Maths teachers for a variety of roles in outstanding secondary schools across the peninsula.
Overview of the Role: This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in a dynamic school environment, delivering high-quality Maths education to students from Year 7 to Year 11. You will be instrumental in creating a positive and stimulating learning atmosphere, ensuring every student has the tools they need to succeed.
Our roles include full-time/ part time, long-term/ short term contracts- flexible supply work, all with a competitive daily rate of £150 to £220, depending on your experience.
Job Duties:
... - Planning and delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons that follow the UK national curriculum for various age groups and abilities.
- Assessing classwork, homework, and tests, and giving constructive feedback to help students improve.
- Tracking student progress, identifying areas of weakness, and providing extra support when needed.
- Maintaining a positive and orderly learning environment and promoting good behaviour.
- Communicating with parents or carers by attending parent-teacher evenings and providing updates on student progress.
- Attending staff and departmental meetings, taking part in professional development (CPD), and supervising extra-curricular activities or clubs.
- Following all school policies, including those related to safeguarding and student welfare.
- Collaborating with other teachers and support staff to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to education.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Hold a valid Enhanced DBS check.
- Eligible to Work in the UK (ETW).

- Excellent behaviour management skills.
