Roles and Responsibilities
As a Maths Teacher, your key duties will include:
Curriculum Delivery: Planning and delivering engaging and innovative maths lessons to students across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and potentially A-Level.
Student Development: Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels confident in their ability to learn and excel in maths.
Assessment & Feedback: Evaluating student progress through various methods and providing constructive, timely feedback to help them succeed.
Collaboration: Working effectively with colleagues and support staff to create a cohesive learning experience for all students.
Classroom Management: Maintaining a well-managed and safe classroom, ensuring a productive and focused learning environment.
Extracurricular Activities: Contributing to the school's enrichment program by running extracurricular maths clubs or supporting intervention sessions.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching Maths at the secondary school level.
Strong knowledge of the UK Mathematics curriculum.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
A genuine passion for maths education and a commitment to student success.
