Salary: £150 - £220 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Your Core Duties:
- Inspiring Lessons: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging maths lessons that cater to a wide range of abilities, from Key Stage 3 through to GCSE and A-Level.
- Student Support: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, providing tailored support and feedback to help every student reach their full potential.
- Assessment and Progress: Use a variety of assessment methods to track student progress, identify areas for improvement, and report on attainment.
- Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the Head of Department to innovate and refine our maths curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant and exciting.
- Pastoral Care: Contribute to the pastoral life of the school, acting as a form tutor and supporting student's personal and academic growth.
Skills & Qualifications:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at a secondary school level.
- Exceptional subject knowledge and a genuine passion for maths.
- The ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and with enthusiasm.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- A collaborative and innovative mindset.
