The role :
A thriving and inclusive Secondary School is seeking an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their exceptionally strong department. This team is committed to ensuring every student develops both confidence and enthusiasm for Maths, underpinned by a carefully structured, five-year curriculum designed for deep, secure learning and outstanding national outcomes.
This is a full-time, permanent position working with students across Years 7-11. You will be instrumental in maintaining the department's excellent track record and contributing to a positive, forward-thinking educational culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, engaging, and differentiated Maths lessons to students in Years 7-11, catering to the full spectrum of abilities.
- Plan and teach lessons that actively foster a genuine love for the subject and secure deep understanding.
- Accurately assess, monitor, and report on student progress, ensuring all learners achieve their maximum potential.
- Collaborate actively with highly skilled colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the ongoing development of the curriculum and departmental initiatives.
- Maintain a positive, productive, and well-managed learning environment.
