Randstad are recruiting for a number of Mentor positions for Belfast Metropolitan College to start in September 2025 for the academic year - full and part time hours available

Requirements
- Hold a relevant, recognised degree (at level 6), or equivalent, together with a minimum of one year's relevant experience
- GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent essential OR Essential Skills level 2 (or higher) in Communication, or equivalent.
- Experience of working directly with young people on a one to one basis and in a group setting
- Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting and compliance due to the nature of this work
Responsibilities
- The post holder will be responsible for providing one to one tuition with a student
- Organise and plan a learning programme that meets the needs of the individual
- Regular contact with the students tutor to make sure the programme keeps in line with the relevant syllabus
- Provide guidance and support to build confidence when it comes to exams
- Help prepare them for life and careers outside of college
