The school is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Spanish to join their thriving Modern Foreign Languages department. This is a fantastic opportunity for either an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced practitioner with recent and relevant experience teaching Spanish to Key Stage 4.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Spanish lessons across Years 7-11, catering to the full ability range.
- Contribute to the development of engaging schemes of work and resources.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that inspires students.
- Participate in departmental and whole-school initiatives to raise achievement.
- Support the wider life of the school through enrichment and extracurricular activities.
What We're Looking For
- A qualified teacher with a strong subject knowledge in Spanish.
- Experience teaching Spanish to KS4 is essential; ability to offer French at KS3 or KS4 is desirable.
- A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
- Enthusiasm for working collaboratively within a supportive team.
- A reflective practitioner keen to develop professionally.
