Duties involve:
Supervise and support a small cleaning team across multiple Southern Water sites in East and West Sussex.
Coordinate staff rotas and arrange emergency cover to ensure all sites are serviced on schedule.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Provide hands-on cleaning support to the team when required or during periods of staff absence.
Deliver site-specific inductions and ongoing training for new and existing cleaning operatives.
Manage the distribution and inventory of cleaning chemicals, consumables, and equipment across all locations.
Ensure all team members adhere to strict Health & Safety regulations, including COSHH and the use of PPE.
Act as the primary point of contact for site managers to resolve any issues or special cleaning requests.
Monitor and report any maintenance defects or security concerns found on-site to the relevant authorities.
Maintain the company vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition for daily travel between sites.
Complete and submit digital or paper-based reports, time sheets, and safety logs accurately and on time.
Ensure secure key-holding and alarm-setting procedures are followed for all remote or sensitive facilities.
Required experience:
Must have cleaning Supervisor experience and full UK driving License
