MOSAIC Trainer - Children or Adult Social Services
Calderdale Borough Council seeks a dynamic and proficient MOSAIC Trainer to join its Mosaic Implementation Programme. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery and adoption of the new system across the Children and Young People's Service and Adult Services and Wellbeing. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to design and deliver bespoke, engaging training that empowers frontline staff, ensuring they are confident in applying new workflows, tools, and recording models. The role demands close collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), the System Support Team, operational leads, and technical teams to ensure training content aligns seamlessly with the programme's strategic objectives.
Summary of the Job
Job Title: MOSAIC Trainer
Location: Hybrid working (on-site delivery required)
Day Rate: £400 - £450 per day
Contract: 6-8 months, outside IR35
Work Pattern: 5 days per week
Required Experience: Previous experience delivering IT or system training within a social care or public sector setting, with a strong understanding of Mosaic or similar case management systems. The ability to communicate complex processes clearly and develop both in-person and digital training content is essential.
Personal Attributes: The ideal candidate is a proactive and effective team player who can also excel on solo tasks. They must be comfortable presenting to senior members of the project team and board members, demonstrating a can-do attitude and a strong task and time-driven approach.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and deliver tailored training on the Mosaic system to staff across all levels within Children's Services or Adult Social Care.
Design comprehensive training materials, including guides and e-learning content, to support new workflows and system features.
Provide upskilling and "Train the Trainer" sessions for the project team.
Conduct thorough training needs analyses across various service areas to inform content and rollout strategies.
Work collaboratively with SMEs and project leads to ensure all training accurately reflects practice requirements and statutory needs.
Offer supplementary support through walk-throughs, drop-in sessions, and guidance.
Maintain and update all training content based on user feedback and system design changes.
Flexibly adapt to phased rollout plans to ensure training is delivered in alignment with go-live timelines.
Evaluate the impact of training and collate feedback to drive continuous improvement in delivery.
