Location: Northampton
Shifts: 24/7 production - 4 week rota (inc earlies, lates & nights)
Salary: Circa £55,000 per annum

My client is a highly reputable international company who has a longstanding local site and is in process of hiring a new team of engineers from FMCG, production, manufacturing, distribution or any similar fast-paced industry to join their team and develop the site and the engineering process.
This is a fantastic opportunity for any hungry, motivated maintenance engineers that want to develop their existing skills set, and undertake advanced electrical training with one of UKs biggest/well known companies in the industry from day one. The Candidate:
You must have a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work and want to grow within the company long-term and must have previous experience finding BOTH mechanical and electrical faults in a fast-paced automated environment. You will ideally be electrically biased and be familiar working on a variety of industrial equipment from controls, PLCs, three phase motors, wiring and robotics (although initially training on their equipment will be provided).
Requirements:
... - Several years experience working within a fast-paced automated environment.
- Must have completed an onsite apprenticeship or hold a level 3 NVQ/HNC/HND or above in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Must be a team player, willing to hit the ground running and enthusiastic to learn.
- Be familiar with electrical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, maintenance, repairs and replacements.
- Previous experience with the following equipment would be highly beneficial; hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor systems, drives, sensors, three phase motors, controls/PLCs and robotics.
