Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Alyesham, Kent
Shifts: Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts
Salary: Circa £46,000 + Overtime (x1.5 / x2) OTE £55k +

Due to growth, this industry leading manufacturing company is seeking a technical multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join a highly skilled team during this very exciting time in the business.
The company has a fantastic reputation in the plastic manufacturing industry on a global scale, but also an ever growing list of contracts with local businesses in the local area. They offer advanced training both internally and externally and have a reputation for looking after their employees.
Working as part of a multi functional technical engineering team, your overall objective is to ensure the efficient running of all machinery on site, and in turn maximise production output as well as take charge of upgrades and improvement projects. Therefore, you must be truly multi-skilled and able to address both the electrical and mechanical aspects of machinery.
You will be covering 16 production lines, covering vertitle equipment that needs regular amendments due to the nature of their contracts and the ever changing products. Therefore they need you to be forward thinking and implement continuous improvement and corrective maintenance whilst managing breakdowns is fundamental to this role.
Requirements:
- Several years experience working as a senior multiskilled maintenance engineer.
- Willingness to grow and develop with the business.
- Hold at least a level 3 or degree qualified in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Experience with variable speed drives and PLC control systems.
- Ability to adapt, change and be confident to make improvement recommendations.
- Assist the Engineering Manager with creating and reviewing risk assessments, SOPs, OPLs, and Preventative Maintenance Schedules
