Located in Leeds, our client operates several outstanding settings catering to children aged 0-5 years. These settings prioritise the welfare of the children, seeking caring individuals who prioritise the children's well-being and foster strong relationships with both the children and their families. As a creative practitioner in the early years, you'll have the opportunity to implement your knowledge of the EYFS curriculum, working alongside proactive professionals in a collaborative team environment. The Responsibilities:
- Plan creative and age-appropriate activities to support children's specific development
- Conduct accurate observations to document each child's progress
- Assist with children's hygiene routines and mealtimes
- Contribute to a safe and enjoyable environment
- Uphold safeguarding protocols and maintain daily diary records
- Be an enthusiastic and proactive team member
- Support colleagues with key worker responsibilities
The Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS clearance on the update service or willingness to obtain one through Randstad
- Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 is essential
- NVQ Level 3 or above/equivalent qualification
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong work ethic and professional demeanour
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
