If so, we are currently looking for an Office and Events Manager to support administrative duties relating to internal and external events management at a global medical device company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Management of purchase orders and invoices
- Coordinate approval of expenses with procurement to ensure documentation in order for approvals
- Identifying cost-reduction opportunities, managing suppliers, improving quality, reviewing contracts and improving procurement processes
- Source and negotiate goods at reasonable prices, monitor inventory and purchase contract renewal
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Schedules, organises and monitor events such as congresses and business conferences/meetings
- Arrange travel, hotel and transportation requirements
- Manage compliance documentation related to sales activities
- Managing internal and external events including coordination, administration and budgeting.
- Administration duties for the general manager
- New starter onboarding related tasks
- Coordinate key projects as required by the General Manager.
Role details:
Job Title: Office and Events Manager
Work Location: Maidenhead
Contract Type: 12 months
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: from £32,000 per annum (with scope to increase dependant on experience)
Hours: 9AM - 5PM (Mon - Fri)
Person Specification:
- Strong experience within an Events administration / Events coordination.
- Ability to work in a fast paced commercial environment
- Strong use of IT systems
- Efficient communicator both written and oral
- Organised with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Enjoys problem solving
- Collaborative and strong teamworking skills
