Payroll Specialist - Remote, Swedish Speaking
Do you have a strong background in Swedish payroll and a passion for accuracy? Our client is looking for a Swedish-speaking Payroll Specialist to join their team. This is a 5-month contract with the potential to be extended or converted to a permanent role based on performance.
This is a fully remote position, with a requirement to travel to the Darlington office once per quarter on average.
As the main point of contact for payroll-related queries from their Swedish sites, you will need up-to-date knowledge of Swedish legislative and statutory payroll requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for all Swedish sites, ensuring compliance with legislation and completing SOx controls.
- Manage relationships with internal and external agencies, and respond to all queries regarding tax, social security, insurance, and more.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Maintain and update document workflows and work procedure manuals.
- Participate in virtual meetings with clients in Sweden to answer payroll questions.
Requirements:
- Fluent in both Swedish and English.
- In-depth knowledge of Swedish legislative and statutory payroll.
- Several years of hands-on experience processing Swedish payroll.
- Experience with SAP payroll is essential.
- Strong Excel skills.
PAYE Rate: £30 per hour
