About the Role & School

Key Responsibilities
As a PE Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for students in Key Stages 3 and 4 across a variety of sports, including invasion games, athletics, and gymnastics.
- Contribute to a broad extracurricular program by leading clubs and organising fixtures and events.
- Track student progress using data to inform your teaching and ensure every student, including those with special educational needs (SEN) or who are English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners, is supported.
- Act as a positive role model, promoting a culture of health and well-being while maintaining high standards of behaviour.
- Ensure health and safety in all physical activities.
Requirements and Desirable Skills
Essential:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
- The legal right to work in the UK.
- Strong knowledge of various sports.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
Desirable:
- Experience using performance analysis tools.
- A proven record of success in sports competitions.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to get involved in whole-school initiatives.
