We are currently recruiting a Permanent 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child who requires additional help accessing their learning within a welcoming mainstream primary school. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for someone who is patient, enthusiastic, and passionate about helping children reach their full potential.
In this role, you will provide consistent one-to-one support throughout the school day, helping the child engage with lessons, manage emotions, and build confidence. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and parents to ensure tailored support is delivered effectively and safely.
Key Responsibilities include:
Providing dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day
Supporting personalised learning and adapting activities where needed
Assisting with communication, attention, and behaviour
Supporting routines, transitions, and emotional regulation
Encouraging independence, resilience, and confidence
Maintaining safeguarding, safety, and inclusion at all times
