The Role: Physics Teacher
We are looking for a teacher who can inspire students from Key Stage 3 (Ages 11-14) up through A-Level/IB (Ages 16-18) and foster a genuine love for Physics.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons across the full age and ability range, including advanced level courses (e.g., A-Level, IB, or equivalent).
- Design and conduct practical experiments safely and effectively to reinforce theoretical concepts and develop students' investigative skills.
- Assess, monitor, and report on students' progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
- Contribute to the development of the Physics curriculum, teaching materials, and departmental schemes of work.
- Provide academic guidance and support to students, including university application preparation (where applicable).
- Participate in co-curricular activities such as Science clubs, trips, and competitions to enrich the student experience.
- Maintain a positive and orderly learning environment where all students feel respected and encouraged to participate.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking an individual who is not only an excellent subject specialist but also a passionate educator dedicated to the pastoral and academic well-being of our students.
- A relevant degree in Physics or a closely related field.
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching Physics to a high standard, ideally up to A-Level or IB.
- A deep and current understanding of educational best practice and curriculum development in Physics.
- The ability to communicate complex scientific concepts in an accessible and exciting way.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and departmental collaboration.
- Excellent classroom management skills and a proactive approach to student motivation.
