The Role: Primary Supply Teacher
We are seeking dynamic and reliable individuals to join a list of preferred Primary Supply Teachers. This essential role involves covering planned and unplanned absences, providing crucial classroom cover on a day-to-day, short-term, or occasionally long-term basis. This offers you an unrivalled opportunity for flexibility, variety, and the chance to contribute positively to the education of numerous children in the local area.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Effectively deliver lesson plans and activities left by the absent class teacher, ensuring pupils remain engaged and focused.
- Maintain positive behavior management within the classroom, upholding the school's standards and policies.
- Supervise and support pupils during their learning, providing assistance and encouragement as needed.
- Safeguard the well-being of all children, adhering strictly to the school's safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
- Report back to the permanent class teacher or relevant phase leader with clear, brief feedback on the day's activities and any immediate concerns.
- Prepare the classroom for the next lesson or the following day, ensuring resources are tidy and accessible.
- Be punctual and professional in all dealings with staff, students, and parents.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent primary teaching qualification is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a UK primary school setting (ideally across different key stages).
- Exceptional flexibility and confidence to adapt quickly to new routines, schools, and year groups.
- Strong instant rapport-building skills with children and colleagues.
- Excellent proactive communication when accepting and confirming bookings.
- A commitment to high professional standards and reliability.
- Up-to-date knowledge of primary curriculum best practices and assessment.
