The Role: Primary Supply Teacher

We are seeking dynamic and reliable individuals to join a list of preferred Primary Supply Teachers. This essential role involves covering planned and unplanned absences, providing crucial classroom cover on a day-to-day, short-term, or occasionally long-term basis. Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Effectively deliver lesson plans and activities left by the absent class teacher, ensuring pupils remain engaged and focused.
• Maintain positive behavior management within the classroom, upholding the school's standards and policies.
• Supervise and support pupils during their learning, providing assistance and encouragement as needed.
• Safeguard the well-being of all children, adhering strictly to the school's safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
• Report back to the permanent class teacher or relevant phase leader with clear, brief feedback on the day's activities and any immediate concerns.
• Prepare the classroom for the next lesson or the following day, ensuring resources are tidy and accessible.
• Be punctual and professional in all dealings with staff, students, and parents.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent primary teaching qualification is mandatory.
• Previous experience in a UK primary school setting (ideally across different key stages).
• Exceptional flexibility and confidence to adapt quickly to new routines, schools, and year groups.
• Strong instant rapport-building skills with children and colleagues.
• Excellent proactive communication when accepting and confirming bookings.
• A commitment to high professional standards and reliability.
• Up-to-date knowledge of primary curriculum best practices and assessment.
