About the Role: As a Supply TA, you will be a valued member of the school team for the day. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Class Teacher with the delivery of lessons and classroom management.
Working 1:1 or in small groups to support pupils with literacy, numeracy, or SEN needs.
helping to create a positive and safe learning environment.
Assisting with the preparation of resources and displays.
Supervising pupils during break times and lunchtimes when required.
What we are looking for:
Experience: Previous UK experience working with children (in schools, nurseries, coaching, or care settings) is essential.
Qualification: A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, but experience and the right attitude are just as important.
Adaptability: The ability to build rapport quickly with staff and students in new environments.
Compliance: An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
