What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Full QTS and recent experience teaching in UK Primary schools. NQTs/ECTs are also encouraged to apply.
Experience: Proven experience teaching across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, with a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
SEN Understanding: Experience working with and adapting teaching for pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN). A commitment to inclusive practice is essential.
Commitment: A dedicated and reliable individual looking for full-time, long-term work. While initial placements may be day-to-day for supply needs, our aim is to secure you consistent, long-term positions or permanent contracts.
Working Hours: Ability to commit to full-time hours, typically 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, during term time.
Passion for Primary Education: A genuine desire to foster a love of learning in primary-aged children, promoting academic progress and personal development for every child.
Key Qualities: Excellent classroom management, strong pedagogical knowledge, adaptability, creativity, resilience, and a positive, collaborative attitude.
Your Role Will Involve:
Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum to diverse classes, differentiating to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN.
Assessing, monitoring, and recording the progress of pupils, providing constructive feedback, and contributing to SEN reviews and IEPs/EHCPs.
Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where all children feel safe and valued.
Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting high standards of conduct, utilising strategies to support pupils with SEN.
Collaborating with colleagues, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals to support pupil well-being and academic success for all pupils.
Participating in school meetings, training, and extracurricular activities as required.
