About the Role:
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will provide valuable support to teachers and pupils across various year groups in primary school. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation and resources.
Working with small groups of children to support their learning in literacy and numeracy.
Providing one-on-one support to children who may need extra help.
Helping to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
Supporting children during playtime and other activities.
Contributing to the overall well-being and development of the children.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for individuals who:
Have a genuine passion for working with primary school children.
Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
Are patient, caring, and enthusiastic.
Can work effectively as part of a team.
Are reliable and committed to supporting children's learning.
Have some experience working with children (desirable but not essential).
Hold a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) is an advantage but not essential.
Are willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
