We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in helping children thrive both academically and socially in a nurturing and dynamic environment.
About the Role:
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils in their day-to-day learning, providing encouragement, guidance, and practical help. Whether supporting whole-class activities, small groups, or individual pupils, your input will make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support teaching and learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher.
- Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
- Work with individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning and encourage participation.
- Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs, including those with SEN.
- Help manage pupil behaviour and promote a positive, respectful classroom environment.
- Support pupils with personal, social, and emotional development.
- Assist with classroom organisation, displays, and general administrative tasks.
- Supervise pupils during break and lunch times as required.
What We're Looking For:
- A positive, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience in a primary school or similar setting (desirable).
- A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) is desirable but not essential.
