What You'll Do:
- Empower Learning: Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons, helping every student reach their potential.
- Targeted Support: Work with small groups and provide crucial 1:1 assistance, including for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Positive Environments: Contribute to a calm, focused, and positive classroom atmosphere.
- Resourceful: Help prepare and organize essential learning materials.
- Build Connections: Foster strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to champion student progress.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience: Previous experience working with children, ideally within a school setting, is essential.
- Adaptability: The ability to seamlessly transition between different classroom environments and age groups.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with students and staff.
- Safeguarding: An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one quickly).
- Team Player: Thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative school team.
- Patience & Care: A genuinely supportive and patient approach to working with children.
- Qualifications: While relevant education/childcare qualifications are a bonus, your passion and experience are key!
