Are you an experienced No. 1 Printer looking for a new opportunity? My client, a leading commercial printer, has four immediate vacancies for skilled individuals to join their team.
They're seeking dedicated professionals with a strong print background and hands-on experience operating web-fed printers. If you've honed your craft at other large commercial printing operations we want to hear from you.
The Role: No. 1 Printer
As a No. 1 Printer, you'll be responsible for operating their advanced web-fed printing presses, ensuring high-quality output and efficient production. While no specific qualifications are required, time-served experience in a similar role is essential. They're looking for individuals who can hit the ground running and contribute to a busy printing environment.
What My Client Offers:
- Competitive Salary: £37,609.71 per annum
- Down Manning Bonus: An additional £4,000 to reflect the increased responsibility within the team.
- Generous Shift Pattern: Their 5-shift pattern (7 am - 7 pm) offers an excellent work-life balance, with 33 hours a week and an average of 11 shifts per month, giving you plenty of time off.
- Week 1: Monday to Thursday (Days)
- Week 2: Friday to Sunday (Days)
- Week 3: Monday to Thursday (Nights)
- Week 4: Friday to Sunday (Nights)
- Week 5: Week Off
- Pension Scheme: They offer a basic pension plan with a 5% candidate contribution and a 3% company contribution.
- Workwear Provided: After 6 months, you'll receive company workwear, which is laundered in-house.
- Overtime Opportunities: Overtime is available at a rate of x1.18.
