Location: Basingstoke
Pay Rate: £13.79 per hour
Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts (Mon-Fri: 6 am-2 pm and 2 pm-10 pm)
Duration: 3 months with a strong possibility of extension
Hours: 40 hours per week (Optional overtime available)
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be a vital part of the production process, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely. Your daily tasks will include:
Production Excellence: Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions for assembly and material handling.
Quality Control: Completing production paperwork, inspecting products, and ensuring all packaging meets high-quality standards.
Equipment Operation: Starting, stopping, and supervising conveyor speeds while assisting with equipment validation.
Logistics & Maintenance: Performing line clearances, weighing and labelling containers, and maintaining a clean, sanitised work environment in line with ISO/cGMP regulations.
What You Bring to the Team
We are looking for a proactive team player who meets the following criteria:
Education: Secondary Education, Advanced Certificate, or equivalent.
Experience: Previous experience in a lab or manufacturing environment (this can be from work or school-based training).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with manufacturing systems like QAD or AGILE is a significant plus.
Compliance: A strong commitment to safety, including the use of PPE and following chemical hygiene protocols.
