Pay Rate and Hours of Work:
- £12.65 PER HOUR whilst training progressing to £15.18 PER HOUR when on shift
Shifts are:
Monday and Tuesday = days 7am - 7pm
Wednesday and Thursday = off
Friday, Saturday and Sunday = nights 7pm -7am
Monday and Tuesday = off
Wednesday and Thursday = days 7am -7pm
Friday, Saturday and Sunday = off
And then it starts again as above but opposite hours so starts Monday on nights 7pm - 7am and so on.
Responsibilities:
- Testing, inspecting, and packing single-use laboratory consumables.
- Ensuring the correct quantity and quality of products are packed according to client specifications.
- Conducting quality checks on products for defects like cracks, excess plastic, or cloudiness.
- Manually checking a proportion of products, for instance, one in every 100, depending on the item.
- Accurately completing batch paperwork, including dates and quantities.
- Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and standard operating procedures.
- Following clean room protocols, which can include wearing masks, gloves, hairnets, and beard snoods.
Requirements:
- Excellent level of verbal and written English communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, be methodical, process-driven, focused and pro-active
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- A drive for continuous improvement and willingness to identify with company values
- Good people skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Good reliability
