We have a permanent opportunity available within TATA Steel's Hartlepool works. This role is ideal for someone with heavy industry, project management and CDM regulations experience. The successful applicant will be a degree educated Electrical Engineer who has the capacity to deliver on major capital projects and large scale engineering projects.

Location: TATA Steel, Hartlepool Works, Brenda Rd, Hartlepool TS25 2EG
Salary: up to £60k (dependent upon experience)
Shift Patterns: Days
Responsibilities:
- Delivering complex engineering projects with budgets from £100k-£5m
- Working on projects to help deliver world class efficiency, safety and sustainability of operations
- Supporting on major capital projects
- Planning, designing and executing electrical work from concept to commissioning
- Collaborating with internal and external teams to deliver technical solutions
- Coordinating with cross functional teams to ensure project objects are met
- Creating and reviewing electrical design specifications, schematics and drawings
- Ensuring any designs comply with industry standards, codes and regulations
- Overseeing installation and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment
Essential requirements:
- Degree educated in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years industry experience (Heavy industry/Manufacturing and/or large scale engineering environments)
- The ability to project manage and lead a team with proven experience of this
- Familiarity with the construction (design and management) regulations (CDM)
- Sound understanding of UK health and Safety legislation including risk assessments
- Strong verbal and written communication skill
