Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for your next challenge? We're partnered with a Tier 2 main contractor seeking a driven individuals that have previously led and delivered healthcare, education or industrial projects ranging from £10m - £20m in value.
As the No.1 on-site, you'll have full autonomy and responsibility for successful project delivery from start to completion. We're open to candidates seeking either long-term contract or permanent employment. While we're keen for someone to start as soon as possible, the client is happy to consider candidates with a 1 month notice period.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Develop, monitor, and update comprehensive project programs, ensuring critical path activities are maintained and communicated effectively to all stakeholders.
Regularly review and report on project progress against the program, identifying potential delays and implementing corrective actions.
Act as the primary point of contact for the client, fostering strong working relationships and ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded.
Chair client meetings, presenting progress reports, addressing concerns, and proactively managing variations or changes to the project scope.
Oversee all on-site operations, including health and safety, quality control, and progress reporting.
Effectively manage project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Project Manager on projects valued between £10m - £20m.
Previously worked on projects in the healthcare, education, or industrial sectors
Demonstrable experience as the No.1 on-site.
Exceptional client-facing skills with a proven ability to build rapport and manage expectations.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
A relevant construction-related qualification is preferred.
