We are looking for a high-caliber Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex, high-value engineering projects. You will be the bridge between technical excellence and commercial success, ensuring that client' bespoke power solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the project lifecycle-from initial engineering concepts and detailed design through to procurement, site installation, and final commissioning.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers while coordinating internally with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, and Senior Leadership.
- Manage project schedules, resource allocation, and budgets (P&L) to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability.
- Maintain a Safety First culture by ensuring all projects adhere to SHEQ standards, CDM regulations, and contract requirements.
- Support the sales team during bid development, providing technical insight, proof-of-concept designs, and accurate commercial forecasting.
- Provide coaching and feedback to multi-disciplined project teams to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- An Engineering degree (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent technical background.
- 5+ years of Project Management experience within the Electric Power, Oil & Gas, Defence, or Data Center sectors.
- Proven track record of managing projects involving generators, process control equipment, or complex mechanical/electrical systems.
- Capable of managing multi-million pound programs on "live" construction sites.
- Proficiency in MS Project and the Microsoft Office suite, professional certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or APM (PMQ/PPQ).
- A valid CSCS card.
- Formal Management and Leadership qualifications.
