We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead a significant Energy project on the Isle of Skye.
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the development of vital infrastructure in a remote and beautiful location.
We can pay outside IR35 or CIS
Key duties & Responsibilties;
- Program and Commercial Ownership: Own the overall project program, ensuring all milestones are met, and hold commercial responsibility for the projects.
- Procurement Management: Manage the Procurement Schedule, including its creation, review, and implementation.
- Resource Allocation: Ensure that adequate and competent resources are available to the project team throughout the project lifecycle.
- Documentation and Reporting: Issue early warning notices as required to manage risks and changes.
- Internal Progress Meetings: Attend weekly progress meetings with the Site Manager and the project team.
- High-Level Reviews: Conduct monthly update review meetings with senior project roles (QS, Safety Manager, Project Director, etc.
- Stakeholder Interfacing: Attend all high-level meetings and maintain constant communication with the client, consultants, and relevant external stakeholders, as well as the Operations Manager.
- Site and Quality Oversight: Manage site setup, maintain company image, oversee site safety, carry out quality audits on sub-contractors, and conduct design review and sign-off of payment certificates.
