Are you an accomplished Project Manager with a proven track record in the water treatment sector? Do you thrive on delivering complex, high-value projects that make a real difference? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to, overseeing critical upgrades to our water infrastructure.
This is an exceptional opportunity to lead projects valued at £10 million and above, focusing on the vital improvement of borehole extraction systems and the implementation of advanced PFAS removal technologies, alongside broader water treatment enhancements.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from conception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your key responsibilities will include:
Project Leadership: Overseeing multiple, concurrent £10M+ water treatment projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Technical Oversight: Managing critical workstreams including the upgrade of borehole extraction systems (e.g., pump replacements, borehole rehabilitation, and efficiency improvements) and the implementation of cutting-edge PFAS (Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances) removal solutions.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborating closely with internal engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, regulators, and other key stakeholders.
Financial Management: Robust control of project budgets, forecasting, and cost reporting.
Risk Management: Proactive identification, assessment, and mitigation of project risks.
Contract Management: Administering NEC contracts (or similar), ensuring compliance and managing variations.
Health & Safety: Championing a strong safety culture and ensuring all project activities adhere to the highest safety standards.
Reporting: Providing regular, clear, and concise project updates to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
What We're Looking For:
Proven Experience: Significant project management experience within the water treatment industry is essential, with a demonstrable history of successfully delivering complex infrastructure projects.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of water treatment processes, specifically experience with borehole extraction and/or PFAS removal technologies is highly desirable.
Project Management Expertise: Solid grasp of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, APM) and excellent skills in planning, scheduling, risk management, and financial control.
Contractual Acumen: Experience working with NEC forms of contract.
Communication & Leadership: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Problem-Solver: A proactive approach to identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions
Qualifications:
- A degree in an engineering discipline (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Environmental) or a related field. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., APM, PMP) are a plus.

- CSCS Card
- H&S Qualifications (desirable)
- Driving Licence
