The Role

Randstad Education are looking for an ambitious, hard-working and proactive Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work one-to-one with a Year 6 pupil at a Special Needs School in Liverpool. The role of a Special needs Teaching Assistant requires you to individually support a pupil with Special needs and work closely alongside the classroom teacher with planning, assessments and the child's progress.

The Candidate

A Committed Teaching Assistant in Liverpool who wants to attain the highest standards in teaching and who can motivate and support children.
A Driven and empathetic teaching assistant who can support the teacher and the class to encourage learning.
Desirable but not essential to have some previous experience of working as a teaching assistant or 1:1 with children who have special needs.
Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to process one.
