Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Oldham Council's Duty and Assessment Team. This is a full time role, with a fantastic pay rate of £39 per hour.

Responsibilities:
- Engage with children and their parents.
- Will be reliable and provide stability and ambition for children and their families during the time they are working with us.
- Ensure Assessments are completed in a timely way for children and families who should be getting the rights services at the right time.
- Completion of Child & Family Assessments, coordinating of Child In Need Planning, Strategy Meeting/S 47
- Enquiries to progress to Initial Child Protection Conference.
- Strong reflection and analytical skills and ability to assess and manage risk required.
- Court experience - around initiation of proceedings/ EPO applications etc desirable.
- Knowledge of Signs of Safety and Safe & Together desirable.
Requirements:
- Social Work England registered
- Social Work Degree or equivalent
- Enhanced DBS
