The Opportunity
Join our fast‑growing horticultural operation as a Quality Control Operative to ensure our products meet the highest standards.
Key Role & Responsibilities
You will be the guardian of product excellence in our fast-paced operation:
Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials and finished plant products to ensure they meet customer and internal specifications.
- Accurately record quality findings, take photographic evidence where needed, and update QC systems.
- Identify, isolate, and report non-conforming products, ensuring corrective actions are followed through.
- Work closely with production, intake, and dispatch teams to maintain efficient workflow and prevent rework or delays.
- Support continuous improvement by flagging trends in quality issues and recommending process improvements.
- Ensure all quality documentation, KPI records, and daily reports are completed to audit-ready standards.
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping and uphold health & safety standards across your working area.
We Require:
- QC/QA Experience: Direct experience in inspecting raw materials and/or finished goods.
- Production Environment: Experience working closely with a busy production line.
- Ability to work confidently on a busy production line while maintaining accuracy and pace.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.
- High attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to maintaining product excellence.

- Pay: £13.70 per hour
- Location : Brough
- Shifts (06:00 am until finish):
- Monday - Friday
- Sunday - Thursday
