We're looking for a proactive Freelance Quality Engineer to join a specialized subcontractor on a long-term project in Buckinghamshire. This is an immediate start for a motivated professional to play a key role in ensuring the highest quality standards on-site.
The role is offered on a freelance basis and can be paid either Limited or CIS.
If you have a keen eye for detail and experience as a Quality Engineer, we want to hear from you. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-respected client and be part of a critical project.
The Project & Role:
You'll be working on a significant project with a scope that includes earthworks, drainage, demolition, and utilities. Your primary responsibilities will be to manage all quality documentation, including:
Overseeing and maintaining all quality documentation.
Conducting regular site visits to take photos and log progress.
Using the Dalux system to track and record quality information.
Ensuring all quality documentation is in order and properly signed off.
This contract is scheduled to run until April 2026, with a strong likelihood of extension as further work is secured. We need someone who can start in the next couple of weeks.
Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience as a Site Engineer is essential.
A Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
Experience on HS2 schemes would be highly beneficial.
Must have a valid UK driving license and own transport.
