Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Project Description:
My client, is looking for Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. You would be contributing to their Nuclear and Energy Division. Multiple large-scale infrastructure projects ranging from £5 million to £20 million, with a focus on providing additional power into the grid. The scope of work includes cable installations, substation construction, facilitating connections for wind and solar farms, as well as dismantling overhead lines for developers. They operate under NEC3 Option A and C contracts. They have recently been award the next phase on the framework which is due to last for the next 5 years.
Benefits:
- £45,000 - £50,000 + package - depending on experience
- Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)
- Long term project.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Implement effective change management strategies to adapt to project requirements.
- Oversee subcontractor management, ensuring deliverables are met within budget and timeline constraints.
- Utilise forecasting techniques to anticipate project costs and resource needs accurately.
- Perform typical Quantity Surveyor duties, including cost estimation, cost control, and financial reporting.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in relevant industries.
- Ideally, possess a degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- Demonstrated experience with NEC3 contracts
- Previous involvement in large-scale infrastructure projects
- Proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment
