Quantity Surveyor- Glasgow:
Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong civils background and expertise in NEC contracts? We're seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team in Glasgow and contribute to our work on the Scottish Power framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all commercial aspects of civils projects within the Scottish Power framework.
Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates, tenders, and valuations.
Administer NEC contracts, including variations, claims, and final accounts.
Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project success.
Monitor and control project costs, identifying and mitigating commercial risks.
Provide sound commercial advice and support to the project team.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the civils sector is essential.
NEC qualification is mandatory.
A strong understanding of groundworks would be a significant advantage.
Demonstrable experience working on prior Scottish Power frameworks is highly desirable.
