Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge? A client of mine is working with a major Joint Venture in the Civil Engineering sector, delivering a high-profile infrastructure project in North West London. This is a long-term contract role, offering a hybrid working model with 4 days on-site and 1 day working from home.
Key Details:
Day Rate: £500 - £600 (Inside IR35)
Location: North West London (Site-based)
Working Pattern: 4 days on-site, 1 day WFH
Sector: Civil Engineering
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting and issuing compensation event (CE) notices and instructions
Managing and assessing Applications for Payment (AFPs)
Regular reporting of Final Account positions
Subcontract management - procurement, administration, and close-out
Interfacing with project teams to ensure commercial governance
Essential Experience:
Strong knowledge and application of NEC3 or NEC4 contracts
Hands-on experience in Civils or Building projects
Currently or recently working Contractor-side
Demonstrable track record of subcontract management and change control
Ability to work effectively with delivery teams, planners, and commercial leads
