We are seeking an organised and proactive Resource Coordinator to join a dynamic and fast-paced team within a leading Rail Contractor, based in Swanley. This is a 12-month contracted position offering an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in the efficient resourcing of projects across the rail infrastructure sector.
Coordinate and allocate skilled labour and resources to various rail projects in line with operational and project requirements.
Maintain and update workforce schedules, ensuring compliance with fatigue management and working time regulations.
Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and recruitment partners to identify resource needs.
Ensure all workers are fully compliant, holding the necessary competencies (e.g., Sentinel) and certifications before deployment.
Maintain accurate records of workforce allocation using internal systems and databases.
Support the mobilisation of new projects and demobilisation of completed ones.
Assist with timesheet collection, data entry, and payroll coordination as required.
Uploading and downloading CV's up against jobs / setting up Interviews.
Proven experience in a resource coordination, workforce planning, or operations support role, ideally within the rail or construction industry.
Familiarity with Sentinel or other rail industry workforce systems.
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to shifting project demands and priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and workforce scheduling tools.
Start Date: November 2025
End Date: November 2026
Full-time, site-based role in Swanley with occasional travel to project sites as required.
Contractor basis - competitive daily rate (dependent on experience).
