        Shipwright Are you an experienced production Shipwright, looking for your next long term project? If so then we may have the position for you.Randstad CPE are looking for 5 Shiprights to help out client to support the production plans, ensuring delivery of production to set timescales/department targets and to quality standards.Duries:Supporting and contributing to the Department Strategy and Plan, as appropriate.Assisting in ensuring Production support is aligned to business objectives.Actively promotes Visions, Values & Culture.Layout work from blue prints, drawings, sketches, verbal orders and any other method of instruction.Sight, plot and mark reference points and lines on building dock or shipway to maintain alignment of vessel during construction or repair.Build keel and bilge blocks, cradles and shoring for supporting ships in shipways, using woodworking hand tools and power tools.Position and secure blocking and other structures on dock platform according to ship's blueprints.Align vessels over blocks.Establish reference points and line up ship's hull for locating machinery and other equipment, in accordance with ship alignment and shape.Spike or bolt metal fittings, plates and bulkheads to wooden parts of ship, using brace and bits, augers, mauls and wrenches.Fairing up all steel work.Experience in Using Dumpy levels and theodolites.Slinging experience in Erecting units and top and tailing.Skill Requirements:Shipwrights must be highly creative and have knowledge of construction. Organisational skills and the ability to manage employees also are important for shipwrights.
