In terms of a working day, if you are covering for a daily absence, you will be required to work to a set plan and ensure the attainment of each child in the class. The work and planning will usually be set in advance and available for you to deliver on the day. You will be responsible for ensuring all children are participating in the class and motivated to learn. You will be required to complete the marking in full at the end of each day before returning the work to the reception. It is important to highlight that cover work can also lead to consistent and long term job or permanent opportunities.
